Seminar: Innovation in Every Fiber

Welcome to the FinnCERES Seminar: Innovation in Every Fiber on May 26, 2026 in Espoo and online! This year, we will proudly celebrate eight years of research impact in bio-based materials. Join us to explore highlights in green chemistry, futuristic applications of lignocellulosics, and inter- and transdisciplinary research for systemic change. Hear from invited top experts, discuss emerging opportunities, and reflect on the impact of long-term, cross-disciplinary collaboration. The seminar will also feature the screening of the new documentary “Innovation in every fiber”, offering an insider’s view into the people, ideas, and discoveries behind FinnCERES, and an exhibition showcasing prototypes developed through FinnCERES projects.
