As part of the Night of Science, FinnCERES is hosting the "Biodegradation and polymers" drop-in workshop in Otaniemi, conveniently right next to the metro station.


Ever wondered if your shopping bag breaks down in compost? Or what connects wood and ice cream? Dive into the captivating world of everyday materials during the Night of Science. Learn how the structure of these materials influences their durability, properties, and biodegradability. Bring the whole family and discover how innovative materials are shaping our daily lives.

The Night of Science is a block party for science and research. It is celebrated annually in Helsinki region.
