Professor Monika Österberg and Research Professor Tekla Tammelin were appointed by the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and the Ministry of Labor and Economic Affairs to the new forest bioeconomy scientific panel. The panel will support the preparation and decision-making of policy measures related to forests, forest industry and forest-based ecosystem services. The scientific panel's term of office is from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2026.
