Elli Käpylä has been appointed as Corporate Relations Manager for the FinnCERES Flagship at Aalto University to enhance the transfer of scientific results towards industrial implementation. In particular, she will join the FinnCERES Industry collaboration team and focus on facilitating new breakthrough innovations arising from research by engaging in an active dialogue with the researchers and the industrial stakeholders.
Dr. Käpylä earned her doctoral degree in the field of biomedical engineering at Tampere University of Technology. She has over 7 years of experience in academia and biotechnological industry working in biomedical product development and partnership management. Most recently, Dr. Käpylä has been working as Alliance Manager for Aspect Biosystems combining her scientific knowledge and technical expertise to understand customer needs and to develop academy-industry relationships and new business opportunities.
